
The Philippine Center Canada, with support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, is launching a Financial Literacy Project Series. This free program offers workshops and training sessions designed to help individuals build practical financial skills and make informed decisions.
The series is open to a broad range of participants, including students, newcomers, early-career and mid-career professionals, entrepreneurs, caregivers, and individuals or families at different life stages. The goal is to simplify money management through clear, actionable steps that participants can apply in daily life.
Program Overview
The series includes four workshops and two training sessions covering:
- Financial prioritization and Budgeting
- Debt management
- Insurance and Investing
- Savings
- Estate planning (time permitting)
Sessions are designed to be practical and interactive, with opportunities for reflection, discussion, and real-world application.
Event Details
The first workshop will take place on April 25, 2026, at Cours Bayview Yards. This session is recommended as it establishes the foundation for the rest of the series.
