Business Development Manager and Microinsurance Advisor

Jean Roxas currently works as Business Development Manager and Microinsurance Advisor at the Co-operative Development Foundation of Canada. She facilitates and develops projects related to cooperative development, inclusive finance, microinsurance, agriculture, and community-based tourism development for countries in Africa, the Americas, Asia and East Europe. Jean started with CDF Canada as the Project Manager for the Rebuilding Through Microinsurance and Women’s Micro-enterprises in the Philippines project in 2016. Prior to immigrating in Canada, Jean was involved in the trade and micro, small and medium enterprise development sector that included positions with government and international development organizations. Her work spans areas such as project management and evaluation, value chain analysis and promotion, business and enterprise development, and institutional development. She implemented a number of projects including a multi-country agricultural value chain promotion project in ASEAN. Jean has a Masteral Degree in Business Management, Training and Change Management, at the Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia.
