Frontliner Alex who works at the Ottawa Civic Hospital and retired Tatay Galito receives a SALAMAT Box

Alex is a frontliner who works at the Ottawa Civic Hospital and Tatay Galito has been retired for sometime now. They live in the same household.
Alex’s nature of work and Tatay Galito’s age puts both of them at risk of contacting diseases. Alex ensures that he practices infection prevention control especially from the workplace to protect his family members. Tatay Galito shared that although he is mostly confined at home during the pandemic, he is still very active at his 70’s, eats balanced meals and regular exercise.
Our Philippine Centre Canada volunteer couple Nel and Chris delivered their Salamat box food package and hand hygiene kit from the support of Canadian Red Cross and Employment and Social Development Canada.
