P.M. and her husband who were essential workers that recently moved from Newfoundland to Ottawa receives a SALAMAT Box

P.M. and her family recently moved to Ottawa from Newfoundland in August 2020 because her husband will undergo preparations for stem cell therapy as a treatment option for blood cancer in addition to his regular chemotherapy cycles. It is also unfortunate that her husband was also diagnosed of a disease where his own immune system is attacking its nerves.

The couple are both essential workers in Newfoundland before coming to Ottawa. She is currently applying for jobs while taking care of her sick husband and her two young kids. Her husband is unable to work due to his illness.

They received SALAMAT Box food package and Hand hygiene kit to help them now and in the coming days. Philippine Centre Canada (PCC) also provided her online link resources which might be beneficial to them.
Thank you Canadian Red Cross and Employment and Social Development Canada that PCC is able to reach out to the vulnerable people in Ottawa and nearby areas.

To P.M. and your family.. be strong! Keep faith!
