I was born in Bulacan Philippines, however I grew up in Las Pinas City where I spent most of my childhood years. I graduated from Adamson University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering(1997). I worked as a Layout Engineer at Rohm LSI Design Philippines, a Japanese Semiconductor company based in Makati City for six years.
In 2005 we immigrated to Canada as an independent family and stayed in Mississauga, Ontario for 6 months until we found a job here in Ottawa. I worked as a Layout Engineer at TSMC Design Technology Canada for seven years and I am currently working at Ciena as an Analog Layout Engineer for almost six years now.
I am currently a member of Woodvale Pentecostal Church in Nepean. In 2007, I worked as a volunteer in Children's Ministry at Woodvale. In my spare time, I also volunteer in helping preparing foods at Shepherds of Good Hope. This was an eye opener for me that there are still a lot of people who are hungry in Ottawa. From then on, I promised to myself that I will volunteer whatever I can to help our community especially to Filipino-Canadian community.
