Our esteemed panelists include Sahar Zohni, Manager of Operations, Planning, and Performance at the national newcomer navigation network. With a wealth of experience in pediatrics and healthcare administration, Sahar has worked tirelessly to improve the experience of newcomers in navigating Canada’s complex health and social services. Her insights and expertise will provide valuable perspectives on the issue at hand.
We are also privileged to have Jennifer Lopez, a registered nurse and Canadian Professional Development Chair of Integrated Filipino Canadian Nurses Association (IFCNA), as a panelist. Jennifer’s personal journey as a foreign educated nurse navigating the Canadian healthcare system will offer a unique and insightful perspective on the challenges faced by immigrants in the industry.
Additionally, Lota Bertulfo, a seasoned international development consultant with extensive experience working across multiple countries, will share her experiences of advocating for immigrant communities globally.
