The Minstrels Rhythm of Hope Inc. is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in the Philippines. Their mission is to provide underprivileged children with access to resources “for their educational rehabilitation, enhancement, and development” (Mapa, n.d.).

As part of their Canada Concert (Fundraising) Tour, The Minstrels Rhythm of Hope choir held a concert at the Dominican University College Church in Ottawa on September 28, 2019.  PCC handed over the amount of $1,300 to the group covering proceeds from the concert and PCC’s donation of $550 for venue sponsorship.  The PCC Board led by Ernesto Cordero, Nora Lezada-Cote, and Amy Pfeiffer and the whole family of Ernesto (Linda, Clary and Simon Cordero) helped organize and promoted the concert to the Filipino-Canadian community in Ottawa.
