Nick Murillo is a retired accountant with a wealth of experience in the public accounting sector in the Philippines, the commercial sector in Papua New Guinea, and Canada. His journey has taken him from Mississauga to Ottawa, where he now resides. Throughout his career, Nick has embraced new challenges with a spirit of adventure, infusing his work with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.
Having settled into retirement, Nick is finding fulfillment in giving back to the community. As the Assistant Program Manager for the FCYCEL program, he is grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution. Nick is dedicated to empowering and guiding the next generation of Filipino Canadians, helping them navigate the complexities of civic engagement and fostering their growth.
In addition to his work with the FCYCEL program, Nick remains actively involved in several other endeavours. He is a valued member of a local seniors group, where he enjoys connecting with peers, sharing experiences, and contributing to a vibrant community. Furthermore, Nick dedicates his time and talents to serving his parish church, enriching the spiritual lives of his fellow parishioners.
