HELP FAMILIES AFFECTED BY THE MINDANAO EARTHQUAKE
A powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake recently struck Mindanao, Philippines, affecting thousands of families and causing significant damage to homes and communities.
In the aftermath of the disaster, many families are facing uncertainty as they begin the difficult process of recovery and rebuilding. Communities are coming together to support one another, but there remains an urgent need for immediate relief. The Philippine Centre Canada (PCC), in partnership with the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) 215.1 Division, is launching a donation campaign to assist families affected by the earthquake. To ensure targeted and effective aid, we are coordinating directly with the Local Government of Gen. Santos City to determine the exact volume of food and water needed and to identify the recipient families.
How You Can Help:
- Cash Donations (Highly Preferred): Financial contributions allow us to send immediate Padala funds directly to the ground to purchase and distribute urgent clean drinking water and food supplies.
- To send cash donation via e-transfer: pccfinanceottawa1@gmail.com Please indicate “Mindanao Relief” in your message.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a meaningful difference. In our commitment to accountability, a full report and photos of the distribution will be sent back to PCC and shared with our community for complete transparency.
Together, we can help provide relief, hope, and support to families as they recover and rebuild.
Maraming salamat po for your generosity, support, and prayers.
